About Wendy Packer, R.N., CH
Wendy Packer has worked in hospitals, clinics and private offices in NYC and Westchester as a R.N. After her NGH Hypnosis certification she completed a clinical practicum at Farmingdale State University. She maintains a private practice in New Rochelle, NY working with adults and children. Being a registered nurse Wendy receives many referrals from Westchester and NYC physicians assisting their patients for the following concerns: weight reduction, smoking cessation, stress reduction, pre-op worry/post-op recovery, lessening symptoms of IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), chronic discomfort, migraine headaches. She would be honored to assist you regarding your concerns. As a Master/Trainer of Reiki Wendy offers sessions and training of Usui Reiki. (Levels 1-11-111).
Wendy an adjunct faculty member of the NGH has presented at the National Guild of Hypnotists 2006 – 2011 Convention and Educational Conference. Her topic was, “The RX for Hypnotism Awareness in the Medical Community”. She truly believes that the mainstream medical community will embrace the use of hypnotism once they are educated in realizing that healing the mind goes hand in hand with healing the body. She presently works with many physicians in the Westchester and NYC community assisting their patients with hypnosis for various concerns.
Her new platform is Care for the Caring, which was addressed at the 2009/2011 NGH Convention. The topic of her 2 hour workshop is “How to be the EXPERT in Taking Care of the CAREGIVER”. Wendy’s book Are You in a Caregiving Relationship and Don’t Know It? Finding a Balance of Loving and Caring will guide readers in understanding that they are in many caregiving relationships both personally and professionally. This book will open your eyes and enlighten you to the relationship and caregiving inevitabilities, realities, and responsibilities we all face. It offers both practical insights into the ways we deal with our caregiving roles and inspiring encouragement for how to lighten your load and become a caregiver for yourself.
Wendy also participates in corporate health events in New York City and Westchester County where she educates employees of various corporations on the benefits of hypnosis, does mini relaxation sessions, workshops and sells her dynamic and life changing CD’s.
She has been a featured guest on multiple radio programs and cable TV shows discussing the benefits of hypnosis.
